What is Manglik dosha?

First off, we are discussing Sidereal degrees or also known as Vedic Astrology. Some Vedic Astrologers generally used to say that Mars in these houses 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house is considered as Manglik and we need to marry the combination of the same person in their natal chart. But it’s totally wrong. 

We already knew about a lot of Raj-Yogas every one has Gaja Kesari yoga or any other Raj yoga but everyone is not living like a king. So if yoga is not applicable for all even in their chart then how can we conclude doshas are applicable for all even in the chart? 

Mars is one of the passionate planets when it falls in the following houses: 1st, 2nd, 4th,  7th, 8th, and the 12th house, it makes the person highly sensitive and passionate. But when it comes to relationships. So they need to find that kind of person means it is useful for both to enjoy the passionate romance because mars rule the blood so when someone has mars in that particular house 1 2 4 7 8 12  they became sensitive because of high blood flow compared to others. So now I can feel your question like how Manglik dosha affects people and how to find the Manglik is highly effective? The answer is very simple when the mars have the influence of malefic like Rahu or Saturn or both Rahu, Saturn without any benefic connection and that particular mars dasa comes means than only Manglik will be highly effective.

For example, cancer rising the 7th house rules, Capricorn and 8th house rule Aquarius. If Mars is the house of Aquarius and is closely conjunct with Rahu Saturn or both less than 8 degrees and the Mars Dasa comes during the period of marriage means then we can say that Mars Dasa makes the person over sensitive and abuse the part and end up in a marriage like a divorce. So for any dasas or any yogas that particular planet dasas needs to come. So again I like to double-check that if Mars has a connection with a malefic planet like Saturn or Rahu or both without any benefic connections and that particular dasa comes means it will affect the life of a person.

The exception to the rule for Manglik is:

1. Mars in the house of Jupiter or conjunct with Jupiter or aspect by Jupiter is not considered as Manglik

1. Mars in the house of Venus or conjunct with Venus or aspect by Venus is not considered as Manglik

1. Exalted Mars in Capricorn without any malefic conjunction is not considered as Manglik

1. Mars is conjunct or aspected by a full moon is not considered as Manglik – so double-check if the natal that you are looking at was born on a full moon

So here all some basic rules to find Manglik effects in charts, no matter wherever Mars is placed in any of the following houses: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or the 12th houses in the natal chart that you are observing. If it’s not influenced by Saturn or Rahu means it’s not considered as effective Manglik.
